" The Wine in the Construction of Territories ", by Manuel de Novaes Cabral

Manuel de Novaes Cabral: degree in law and post-graduated in Economy at the Portuguese Catholic University. As Director of the Presidency of Porto Municipality, he represents the Municipality in the Great Wine Capitals since 2003. Secretary-General of the Assembly of European Wine Regions (1998-2001).
He has organised meetings and has been keynote speaker in almost every wine regions worldwide.
He has published “Aspects de la Politique Vitivinicole des Régions d’Europe” (2002) and “Territórios do Vinho – Territories of Wine” (2009).
He is an honorary fellow member of some brotherhoods, namely the Brotherhood of Vinho do Porto. The French Government honoured him as Officer of the Order of Agricultural Merit (2005), for his work in the wine field.
"The Science and the Construction of Wine", by Fernando Sena Esteves
Fernando Sena Esteves: Born in 1937, graduated in Pharmacy at the Porto University Faculty of Pharmacy, where he has developed his activity. After a two-year stay in the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, USA, he got his PhD in Biochemistry. Lectured many courses and presided several school councils, participated in national and international congresses, published research papers and was an examiner member in numerous PhD and Agregação juris at Porto, Lisbon and Coimbra Universities. In 1983 received the degree of Cavaleiro da Confraria do Vinho do Porto. Retired in 2005 as Professor Catedrático, presently heads the Museum of his Faculty.
" The Construction of Wine ", by Álvaro Siza

Álvaro Joaquim de Melo Siza Vieira, internationally known as Álvaro Siza, is a contemporary Portuguese architect, born in1933 (Matosinhos). He graduated in architecture in 1955, at the former School of Fine Arts from the University of Porto, the current FAUP - Faculdade de Arquitectura da Universidade do Porto. He completed his first built work in 1954. Siza Vieira taught at the school from 1966 to 1969, returning in 1976. In addition to his teaching there, he has been a visiting professor at the Graduate School of Design, Harvard University; the University of Pennsylvania; Los Andes University of Bogota; and the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne. In 1992, he was awarded with the renowned Pritzker Prize. He is a member of the American Academy of Arts and Science as well as Honorary Fellow of the Royal Institute of British Architects, the American Institute of Architects, the Académie d'Architecture de France and the European Academy of Sciences and Arts.
