CALL FOR PAPPERS - invitation letter - 1st call

Dear Sir, Dear Madam,

The XXXIV World Congress of Vine and Wine and the 9th General Assembly of the International Organisation of Vine and Wine (OIV) are to take place in Porto (Portugal) between 20th and 27th June 2011 upon the invitation of the Portuguese Minister of Agriculture, Rural Development and Fisheries.

It is an honour for Portugal to welcome the greatest world specialists in the field who will have an opportunity to debate throughout the Congress on the general theme:
“The Construction of Wine – A Conspiracy of Knowledge and Art”

and the following subthemes:

• Construction of a wine
• Constructions for wine
• Construction of the cities of wine
• Construction of wine markets

This international meeting aims to gather researchers, oenologists and professionals in order to discuss not only about the different aspects of the science and the production of wine, but also other related themes including wine trade, social development, city planning, architecture and tourism.

We have a great pleasure to invite you to propose one or more papers (oral or poster) on any of the subjects scheduled for the different sections of the Congress in accordance with the instructions in the attached document.

Submissions must be made on-line through the Congress website (www.oiv2011.pt). At first you must register through login and password and then you can access to the submission form.

Using your login and password you can always access to your submitted papers.
